Frankford publishes a 40 mph sustained-wind guide for non-rectangle Monterey models only in an optimal, properly based position; it is not a warranty and does not apply while tilted. Close and secure the umbrella in sudden weather, when unattended or not in use, and when sustained winds exceed 25 mph. Elevated and exposed sites require more conservative anchoring.
