The Big Green Egg Electric EGGniter starts lump charcoal without lighter fluid. Its hot setting applies concentrated electric heat to the fuel, then the fan setting helps spread the ignition through the charcoal bed.

The 1500-watt corded design uses a three-position Off, Fan, and Hot control. An aluminum heat shield, automatic shutoff switch, and six-foot power cord make it a practical fire-starting tool when a suitable 120-volt outlet is available.
