The Big Green Egg Stainless Steel Fire Bowl replaces the standard cast iron fire grate with a handled, perforated charcoal basket matched to the selected EGG size. Once the fuel is fully extinguished and cool, lift out the bowl and shake away loose ash before the next cook.
The open hole pattern promotes airflow through the charcoal bed for quicker startups. Both the bowl and handles are made from 304 stainless steel, and the weld-free construction removes common welded failure points.
